Can't Take It Back...
We can pull a punch at the last second. We can take back the words we spoke in anger, and we can apologize for mistakes we made during a moment when we were not thinking. But we can never take back a round that is fired from a weapon once we pull the trigger. It will travel out the barrel with incredible speed and velocity until it strikes something that is capable of stopping it. No second chances and no do-overs. Once we pull the trigger, we can only wait to see what it strikes in its path. The first gun incident I'll share with you is one so tragic, it seems unimaginable.
