Giving Credit Where Its Due
As much as the over used comment that many pro-gun groups spew out, " The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun ." makes me want to vomit in my mouth, you've got to give credit where credit is due. No matter what your opinion is of citizens carrying guns in public, 22 year-old Eli Dicken is nothing short of a hero. A lawfully armed citizen who took out an active shooter in record time with extreme efficiency, saving countless lives in an Indiana mall. The shooting occurred this July in the Greenwood Park Mall in Indiana. According to various news agency reports, a 20 year-old white male subject was in the restroom near the food court. He was armed with an AR-15 rifle and multiple magazines filled with ammo. The subject exited the restroom at 5:56:48 pm. and began indiscriminately shooting people in the food court.
